This was the worst experience I've ever had with any school. Favortism is a big thing in this school. My child has been bullied throughout the entire school year. The teachers do nothing about it, becuase they feel that it's not in their job description to do so. My child has been physically assaulted by another child, and the teacher responded by telling me that maybe my child just likes to play the victim. I was shocked by this reasoning. It really didn't make a whole lot of sense. Different kids have gone so far as to tell my child that she eats like a pig, and many more unkind things have been said within the course of the year. And what's really surprising is how nothing is done about it. I guess at this school they feel that kids will be kids, and bullying is allowed to flourish.

Worst high school! Mr. Dunn does not hold kids accountable! My student was threatened multiple times and nothing done! This school is not safe at all! They have students come into the building from other schools. They have no control and it shows! I ended up choosing my student else where and so has several other parents because of the lack of accountability!

Overall, my experience with Flett has been frustrating. The administration does not provide consistent support to staff, students, or families. They tend to operate as if they’re above accountability, often playing by their own set of rules rather than what’s best for the school community.There are a few staff members who genuinely care and put in the work to support students—but unfortunately, they’re the exception, not the norm. Communication is often poor, concerns get brushed off, and it’s hard to feel like families are actually being listened to, let alone valued as partners.The school has potential, but right now it’s being held back by a lack of strong, ethical leadership and meaningful family engagement. I wouldn’t recommend Flett without serious changes.
