About this House

A lovely piece of the great outdoors in this original Skipper home. The road is named after the family that built this home and lots of the original decor still remains from Mr. Skipper. The homestead sits on 21.6 acres, partially cleared and partially untouched raw wooded land. The home features a kitchen with wooden walls and cabinets with a cast iron stove that take you back to a day when living was simplier. There are a couple of cast iron wood heaters still in the home also. The metal roof and detailed wood trim on the front porch give a warm welcome to visitors. Several extra buildings on the property serve as carports and storage spaces. One of the bedrooms is currently being used a large walk in closet space. The grounds that are cleared include the large hill to the west of the home. Home has central heat and air, as well as gas heaters and window units. A survey is available from 2007. Property is approximately 1000ft from Holmes Creek and the property between there is Water Management property. Within 1/2 mile of boat ramp. Owner financing is available with acceptable down payment and credit. Home is being sold as-is

"Quiet and remote. Just far enough away to feel like you're on vacation. Nice 4 laned highway to get to PCB quickly."

"I have visited this area 4 times in the last2 years. It is a very friendly beautiful area. It is about 28 miles from the most beautiful beaches in the world. The restaurants are great and not expensive. Most important it is very safe and beautiful abound with lovely wildlife, butterflies and trees. I can't wait to move here."

"Great place for to live if you enjoy a slower pace of life and the outdoors. Great hunting & fishing on Holmes Creek and the Choctawhatchee River. Panama City Beach is conveniently located for shopping, entertainment, gorgeous beaches, movies, award winning restaurants, etc. Kids attend Vernon schools in the Washington County School District."
