8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe just moved to Lyman in 2016 from York. I was thoroughly impressed with the elementary school, principal and staff. The building is dated but those inside more than make up for it. My daughter had the best 2nd grade teacher in Maine. The principal goes above and beyond to connect with students. The majority of the students is a whole different story though, however. Gossip is common in this school and this might be of concern to some parents.
