  • Julie Stevens
"There are good neighbors and there are not so good neighbors. Find the goods ones and build relationships with them."
  • Joe
"People walk dogs throughout the neighborhood without any issues. Most people out here are dog lovers "
  • Julie Stevens
"There are lots of parks and sidewalks for dog walking. There aren’t any specific dog parks here. Two pet supply places are near. "
  • Zao96854
"I live in Pueblo west so that’s what my answers were for. That being said I have lived at my current home for seven years now and very little crime around my part of PW. It feels safe even without having streetlights. "
  • Shawna Clawson
"People walk their dogs all the time. It is definitely dog friendly! The only downside is most people do not pick up after there dogs. "
  • Lthorson
"Don’t move here if you don’t like noisy cars with straight pipes. Lots of speeding and rude drivers. Also, hard to get good service even from so-called professionals. "
  • Stephanie Lms
"Pueblo is a great place to live! It's so peaceful and people are really kind and friendly. The landscape has a subtle beauty that kind of creeps up on you. We moved here from Denver 7 years ago and I love it here."
  • Janelleroskey
"Somewhat large town with a small town feel. People are friendly and caring. Good local restaurants, great cost of living "
  • Blind M. T.
"Hardly anyone picks up after their dogs. Dog catcher is never around either. nobody puts their dog on a leash. "
  • Toni H.
"Quick and easy. It's a 7 minute drive to my job. The traffic can be busy, but compared to other areas it's acceptable. There are also car services, and a bus system that is easily accessible, and dependable. "
  • Robertaguss
"There are bad areas all around town, so you can't escape it unless you isolate yourself. just always make sure you keep an eye on your kids when playing, so not too play in traffic or talk to strangers unless emergency. "
  • Laura A.
"Lots of families with children of all ages. I have no kids, so I’m not sure of schools and such. Bessemer park is nice and usually clean, wouldn’t walk barefoot through the grass though."
  • Naichcordo
"Experience Country living at its best.... Quite, low traffic cult a sac on the Mesa. Fresh produce stands all around."
  • Slim81004
"I have lived here 7yrs nice people but want a change of scenery there is a lot of work going on in this area due to smelter the EPA are thoroughly working this area "
  • B.gurule
"Houses are so close together you get to know the neighbors very well. My neighbor across the street lives in his garage and keeps the door open. He is always the first person to greet you when you step outside. "
  • Trulia User
"Grew up around here & my job near by & feel comfortable Love living here & feel safe living here where I feel comfortable at.."
  • Enkunstman
"Poorly maintained sidewalks, and stretches without any at all. Few people pick up after their pets. Many are loose and will run up to you and your dog when walking. People often throw trash and other things that can be harmful to pets into backyards. "
  • Zach C.
"This place sucks gunshots everyday cops everyday fires everyday hearse everyday school are awful teenagers shoot people I live down the street from drug dealers"
  • Brianne N.
"I have lived in Pueblo most of my life. General people are kind. I grew up in an area where I played outside all summer with other neighborhood kids and felt like I had a great community to be a part of."
  • Nicole W.
"Pueblo west is not the same as Pueblo, less crime, less crowded, friendlier families and no street lights in most areas "
  • Karin C.
"It is pretty safe and quite. I like it here, because it is also close to the trail. "
  • Glenna J.
"within walking of parks and riverwalk area. there are alot of houses so dogs need to be on a lease at all times"
  • Evanie A.
"I live in a cul-de-sac and it's rather quiet with older neighbors. This makes it nice because we know all of our neighbors and we watch out for each other as often as possible. "
  • Alex A.
"Pet friendly community, we take care of each other pets. Mostly of us leash and scoop after, nothing really big to complain about this. Pueblo, city do decent maintenance on the parks and keep dog bags available for us to use them. "
  • Alex A.
"Nice and quiet place to live Traffic is not an issue except big interceptions. Perfect to grow a family and relatively close to bigger cities like Colorado Springs or Denver in case you want to have big city benefits like a concert etc. "
  • Lola E.
"there is alot of open area, in this part of Pueblo, alot of people walk there dogs thru the streets and roads..."
  • Jennifer D.
"There is Nothing to do here! There needs to be family stuff to do here. Mostly you have to be worried about drugs "
  • Jennifer D.
"I have yet to find anything - I have tried to find stuff to do but it’s never happened for us if you like bars there is plenty of that "
  • Brianni M.
"The higher crime areas should be avoided, as there are dangerous gangs, but overall, Pueblo has a "small town" feel with big town square footage. Lot's of great eateries, and plenty of places to shop, Pueblo has everthing one needs and the cost of living is far less than the state."
  • Andreapereno
"People are nice, houses are nice but backyards are small so you might not be able to set up a swing set or dig in a pool. The location is very convenient as it is within walking distance to the grocery stores, pharmacy and bank. As well as your local Starbucks."
  • Fredpartee
"Traffic can be an issue. In smaller developments people are respectful of each other and generally are very friendly"
  • Andreapereno
"My neighborhood is very pretty and lively and safe but it is getting busier. The homeowners have between 3 to 4 cars since their children have grown up and are now cars parked on the street whereas there were none when we moved here. For me, the commute to work and my son’s school is inconvenient as well as extracurricular activities but everything else from banks to pharmacies stores and grocery stores are here. The location is good, it was better before so now, the other part of Pueblo north seems the way to go."
  • Fredpartee
"New development Eagleridge Estates not well socially established yet. Hard working honest people in this development . Looking forward to he growth of the area and all of the activities that will occur "
  • Ruben V.
"lots of festavles and state fair has lots of dog parks and public pools does a lot of parades and respects our veterans "
  • Stephen D.
"I live in a poverty stricken part of Pueblo to where community events don’t have pot lucks they share needles for heroin and do meth. "
  • Marlize
"We know all our neighbors. great schools and there's always an event going on during summer. We live close to splash park, library and on 4th of July biggest water fight in the States are just up the street."
  • Lynnsey N.
"The commute to my daughters school and back, as well as to the grocery store and my husbands work is easy, always with a moderate amount of traffic. It’s easy to get back and forth to where I need to go without any confusion or getting lost and I always get to where I’m going in a timely manner. During lunch hours it can get busy on the roads but still easy to navigate. I love driving around my neighborhood and seeing how everyone cares for their lawn and takes pride in its appearance. I see people walking their dogs everyday. "
  • Asantistevan214
"Pueblo just has some places to avoid. It’s the same as anywhere, if your cool to people, they’ll be cool to you. "
  • Carlos B.
"Nice neighborhood but rent prices are ridiculous. I can't believe that it's cheaper to buy a house than it is to rent one."
  • Gina_6044
"My community is safe and quiet. There are a few sidewalks and nearby bike lane. However, no community parks around. You can see people often walking their dogs. "
