First of all there is a new principal who is a very nice and reasonable principal and the discipline ways are very light hearted like 5 lunch detentions is only Short term detention most of the teachers are pretty nice and all of them are organized and are very fun but yet strict to make sure we get our work done and then we never get homework unless it’s unfinished work and they have many different food options like different kinds of pizza, spicy stuff, nachos, etc… and all in all its a wonderful school definitely a 10/10 school.

Southeast Elementary is a great K-1 school. The PTA is excellent at getting parents and teachers involved in the school. The Southeast Staff is wonderful, friendly, and so helpful. The ladies in the front office always greet parents with a smile. I love the Daily 5 being incorporated into each classroom. Teachers work and plan together as teams. I like that each classroom is learning the same material. My first grader was challenged and pushed to be a great student in a loving and caring environment. His teacher always communicated with me through the homework folder. I most appreciated the warm and inviting atmosphere that the staff created in the school. As a parent, I was always able to talk to my child's teacher & know that I had been heard and understood.
