"Great family friendly neighborhood that look out for each other! Wonderful place to live! Very popular during holidays and friendly neighbors. "
  • Daniel M.
"private and quiet. not alot of kids. but very well maintained homes. security is not an issue. could use more stores in the area."
  • TS
"The neighbors are very nice and watch out for each other but too much traffic and very loud at night. Trash blows into the yards and everywhere from the shopping center. The city will not make them put a fence around the trash bins to try and control the problem and the businesses could care less about the problem."
  • Westwood Resident
"Beautiful spring and summer yards. Large, beautiful trees that are colorful in the fall. Family friendly trick-or-treating on Halloween. Our neighborhood is one of the best kept secrets in Abilene! AHS athletes run through to safely get in outdoor jogging exercise during the school day. Families safely ride bikes and walk most evenings. Large, well-kept homes for a great price!"
  • Rebecca r.
"Love my neighborhood no one ever bothers me! Lots of new familys are moving in because all the past owners have past away. the old owners lived her for many years and never wanted to move from here I have seen some Dyess Air Force moved because they had to transfer away from Abilene but, when they left they sold their houses fast! Houses sell great!."
  • Daniel M.
"although off of a main street. it's a very quiet neighborhood. safe for the kids and wonderful neighbors "
  • Cdharris1105
"I have lived in this area for over thirty years. It is a safe and well kept neighborhood. It has a very family-oriented feel to it."
  • Rebecca r.
"I've lived here for over 30 years and I love my neighborhood. It is quiet and I knew alot of the original owners who have passed on so now that I see new neighbors moving in I hope they will be happy here just like myself and all the elders who have passed on. Alot of the home owners in this neighborhood are in the Air Force so if they sold there house it's cause they had to move. Richland has sidewalks that just got built but most of the side streets don't have sidewalks. I have seen many people walking all around the neighborhood. I love living here cause I can be at the Mall in about 6-7 minutes, Hendricks hospital in 5 minutes, There is many great food places near, down town, Teachers Credit Union and many banks, parks, Life Church old Anson Rd and many other churchs. One thing I can say is that it is kid friendly, on Holloween starting on Richland and Laurel Dr we get llllloooottts of tricker treaters! Lots, I'm not complaining at all."
  • Ellashana O.
"people are friendly and watch the neighborhood for snything suspicious..i reall love this area.....and dont have to worry about snyone harming my children"
  • Randy D.
"Nice homes friend people, many homes build in mid 80's"
