Description

This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from March 22, 2024
As you head down a secluded gravel drive you may just discover the home of your dreams. You will be greeted by a beautiful 3360 square foot, 4 bedroom and 3 full bath home. Sitting on 12 partially wooded acres with a pond just beyond the tree line, there are many deer to hunt and outdoor activities to indulge in. A large 1800 square foot pole barn accompanies nicely with the abundance of the land this home has to give. The exterior of the home includes a full wrap around porch. Fresh mulch, 6 year old roof, and a freshly poured concrete walkway. Stepping inside you will see a large living area, vinyl and hardwood flooring, a kitchen with a breakfast bar, dining room, three season enclosed patio, laundry room, many spacious closets, 2 full baths and 2 bedrooms. Upstairs there is plenty of room to work or play with 2 additional bedrooms, a full bathroom and cute hang out nook in between. The basement houses most of your mechanicals and there is another furnace upstairs as well. Although the basement is unfinished it could be transformed to a man cave or hang out spot. This property is incredibly inviting and showcases everything you will need to make a house feel like a home.

"I've lived in this neighborhood for 12 years it is a great area, yes there are some thief's , you'll get that anywhere, for the most part it is quiet and quaint. I'm looking to buy a home and if I can't find one in the country I'll try my best to stick to this neighborhood. It's in walking distance to Walmart, and Southside Middle school along with the other shops around Walmart, The Greenway trail is right behind the houses on Meeker Ave. Pet Friendly, Kids are starting to come back into the neighborhood , for a while it was mainly adults. I just love living in this area. "

"The neighborhood that existed 30plus years ago was great. Every house had kids and great place to raise them. Since then renters have moved in and there went the neighborhood. Lawns are not well kept and no more kids outside playing. If my children were little they would have to stay close to home so I would know where they were. "

"Always see dog owners walking their dog. It’s a great place. With empty houses and more people renting homes the neighborhood is definitely going down hill. "

"It’s a college town, but as long as you’re not too prudey (which I don’t mean in a bad way) it is a great place to live. You probably will have the occasional outside noises but it’s safe and the college kids are overall very friendly and considerate of home owners in the area. "
