I really enjoyed my time at Canyon. The teachers were great and super supportive. As long as you stay focused in class, you’ll be fine. The only downside was that they used to allow students from other districts to come in, and most of them would cause fights and weren’t really there to focus on school. I made life long friends here and will forever remember Canyon fondly.

Great school overall, I understand every school has ups and downs, My oldest graduated here few years ago and in Stanford now. My youngest is a 4.0 plus student her attending senior year. We are minority and we will well represented and respected here at Castro Valley Highschool.

This is a great middle school. Our child has done well academically while attending Creekside. Teachers have been great and there’s lots of extracurricular activities offered all year round including sports, after school programs, Math Club and math competitions, CJSF, Science Olympiads, etc. Highly recommend this school.

Our student came from a lower rated school across the bay to this one thinking it’s going to be much better. We were so wrong. Quite the opposite. Many issues with this school. Lack of support for emotional/learning issues. No GATE program. Some teachers and staff that don’t bother communicating issues to parents. Students not allowed to have swings, play on soccer field, or play on playground outside school hours. Don’t send your child here. Look at the school rating compared to the other local schools. When’s the last time this school won a distinguished school award? Decades ago.
