This school has major problems! While there are a few amazing teachers who really care about the students, they are outnumbered by the teachers who don't. One teacher was bullying my daughter to the point she came home in tears regularly. The teacher was completely defiant and unapologetic about it, denying she was the problem, even though she admitted my daughter was not a problem in class and I had evidence that she was grading my daughters papers differently than other students. The principal did nothing. The counselor did nothing. The Superintendent did nothing. And the school board did nothing. To keep my daughter from becoming suicidal or totally dropping out we had to pull her from school part time. It was the only way they would let us take her out of that teachers class. She is getting A's in college classes, but she lost out on the Hathaway scholarship and she had to get a GED because they would not let her get a diploma unless she submitted to the teacher who is a bully. If I could afford to move, I would.
