"Best part is when I get close to home and see the beaches and water. Summertime you have sunsets over the water and occasional bald headed eagle sighting. "
  • Galmus113
"No access other than sone occasional bus service on a main very heavy traveled road which can be dangerous "

"This is a beautiful neighborhood with wonderful people. I feel like I live in the “Shire”. It’s a beach town in the summer and a wooded cozy paradise in the winter."
  • Joyrides123
"I’ve lived in this neighborhood 55 years, great for raising kids, good schools. Friendly neighbors. Beaches nearby, walkable. 2 nice restaurants. There is no town or gas station but the next town is close about 2-3 miles."
  • Kesmooney
"Beautiful place, Great people, great schools, not a lot of diversity though... this is definitely the biggest downside of the area"
  • John C.
"There are great schools here and it’s a very nice community. Centerport is the hidden gem of Long Island. "
  • Thomas E.
"Good place for young couples with families to start out. Crazy bird people though with the bald eagles nearby"
  • Brian E. W.
"Easy to reach the train and access to highway. Commute to my office is less than 30 minutes. Trip home is worst as the traffic is high and trains limited"
  • cassidy h.
"Hbca has a ton of events all the time. Lobster fest, 5k race, campouts, beach movies, a float, safe for trick or treating."
  • Jenvrahatis

"I live here and love it, The neighbors a great community is extremely quiet my front lawn traffic is basically boats. Nice place to raise children"
  • Ludovicorob
"I moved to the neighborhood about 2 years ago. the location is amazing because it's extremely quiet and low key however within an 8-minute Drive is Huntington Village which most nights has a lot of people and restaurants and activities to do. A Perfect Blend for someone who likes to have a good time Some Nights but also likes quiet and relaxation."
  • Wilberbrooke
"Great neighborhood for kids and family’s. I currently rent here and I’m so happy with everyone in the neighborhood very quiet and fun place to be! "
  • loro1340
"I have lived here over 35 years, with a 5 year break in between. This area is wonderful, very beautiful, on the water. The people are middle class, friendly in general, and very involved in the community. We have our own Harbor clean up day. The school district is excellent, excellent, excellent. Taxes are still reasonable, and there are several good restaurants nearby. Shopping in Centerport is very limited, but the two towns on either side have good shopping, and one even has a mall. "
