"See some dogs with owners off leash. Many owners don’t pick up after their dogs which is unfortunate for home owners and overall cleanliness."

"This is where I grew up and went to school. It’s also where my son was raised and went to school. Surrounded with parks for recreation and excellent shopping choices for all our needs. "
  • Jafri H.
"Friendly environment, with respectable community members. Neighbors respect privacy, yet acknowledge each other and look out for pets if lost or escaped. "
  • Luis R
"It’s a very nice place where it is centrally localized near grocery stores, restaurants, speciality shops, and expressways. Many of the major arteries in and around Schorsch Village are all easily accessible and convenient. Family orientated neighborhood, many city workers reside here. "
  • Tomrf
"Adorable, tucked away, hidden gem on the NW Side. Lots of ethnic restaurants nearby, 18 acre Shabbona Park with huge indoor pool plus lots of kids programs. Way more affordable housing compared to Avondale, Logan Square or Lakeview, and far less congestion. You can actually park your car in front of your house! Lots of shopping nearby; Harlem Irving Plaza (HIP), Brickyard and even an Art Van Furniture. "
  • Michael L.
"Great place to raise a family. Safe and close to all highways and public transportation. I know my neighbors and I feel they would agree with me about the neighborhood."
  • Tomrf
"This area of the Northwest Side has all the ethnic charm of Avondale or Lakeview without the price! There are all types of restaurants nearby, including; Polish, Italian, Thai, Greek, Czech, Ukrainian, German, Cuban, Columbian and Mexican. Nestled right in the middle of this neighborhood is Shabbona Park with 18.83 acres of outdoor space, a large indoor pool and lots of kids activities run by the park district. If you are looking to stay in the city, Schorsch Village is a great option. A garage for your car, parking out front for your guests and a backyard for your pet and kids, makes this area a great opportunity."
  • Sebastian
"We have lived here now for 8 months and we love it here. Its quiet and neighbors are amazing. Parking is never a problem compared to where we used to live. The neighborhood seems happy with children, dogs and people walking. We love it here."
