This school is absolutely the worst school to ever go to. Bullying goes around everywhere such as so much drama. Random kids will look at you then want to fight for no reason. You cant be mysterious and by yourself without somebody wanting to hate on you. The teachers are a 50/50. Some are really sweet and then some are so rude. Especially administration. Administration treats you so poorly, they make you want to cry and then laugh in your face about it afterwards.

From my experience standing on the outside looking in on my child who attends this school is absolutely sad. Let me explain, my child came to me in tears because the other children are giving my child dirty looks like they have a problem with my child. My child is a sweetheart and doesn't deserve to be disrespected by the other mean children who thinks the world owes them something. My child can't even achieve in passing classes because of the bullies in this school. I will be pulling my child out. It's no wonder this school has failing overall ratings. The faculty needs to fix the attitudes or bring it up to the BOE.

Dealing with Lyman Hall staff and teachers have been great for me. I have child that is in special needs and one that is attending kindergarten. The teachers are very supportive. The school is very clean. During the pandemic they only had about three to four students test positive. I would knock it down one star due to communication, but I will cut them some slack due to the pandemic and we're all going through some issues while trying to get our life back to normal. Attendance policy could be worked on, also. The excused/unexcused absences. Needing to have a note and on the fifth unexcused absence. They will call social services. That's a bit harsh and needs to be reworked. Especially during this time when as much as cough or sneeze and I am keeping my kids home for that day.
