Brimfield Elementary needs to rethink on the way they give out the “End of Year Awards.” If you cannot give every child an award then you should not give out any!This is what makes a young child feel good about oneself. This is the reason some children hate school,Because they are never given that opportunity to feel good about their accomplishments with their peers. They try and try and never get rewarded for good behavior or school work. This is what you call self esteem. Wake up! These precious years are what they become as adults! I won’t pass a levy until you put our kids first and get some good teachers!!!

Do not send your children to this school

When my 8th grader started here (2025-2026 schools year) we were initially very excited about all the interesting elective choices. Once school start though, we quickly realized how hard the year was going to be. Almost immediately my child was bullied. The counselor was always there to talk but no actual repercussions or consequences were given to the bullies. By December, I had to admit my student into the behavior health ward for suicidal thoughts due to the bullying. When my child was released and back at school the teachers and admin acted like we were an inconvenience when trying to get missed work, dispute communication with the school counselor though everything and my student almost failed the first half of the year because of it. When trying to get an appointment to talk with admin about any issues you’re going to be waiting indefinitely for a response. When you do finally talk to the principal, she’s a master in gaslighting and not taking accountability. No one in the office can answer simple questions about enrollment/withdrawal or day to day operations. I failed as a parent by sending my child to this school, I’m just glad I didn’t lose my child forever.
