Carmel Park subdivision is a nice, walkable neighborhood with mature trees. Although close to shopping on State Street and 4500 South, it is secluded and free of most of the street noise. James E. Moss Elementary School is within easy walking distance for the neighborhood children. There is convenient freeway access at I-15 and 4500 South as well as bus service on State Street, 4500 South, or 5th East. The Trax station at Fireclay Avenue is close and has plenty of parking. Even if you want to avoid the freeway, it takes only about 15 minutes to drive downtown and about 20 minutes to the University of Utah.
