"Iโ€™ve lived and owned my home in Grover for almost 15 years. My cul-de-sac is wonderful and my neighbors are amazing. Donโ€™t plan on leaving anytime soon."
  • Earl4re
"Great community to raise kids. If you like the beach, hiking and friendly people this is the place to be:))"
  • John M.
"Not bad. Highway gets congested at certain times and days. Getting around town is fairly quick except during weekends when visitors arrive."
  • Wil H.
"I commute into San Luis Obispo on Price Canyon and it takes less than 30 minutes typically, as long as there's no construction."
  • Maria E.
"Dogs are great in this area. There is beaches and fog parks. Dogs are well maintained and owners pick up after their dogs. "
  • Katie W
"Skate park is well maintained and a fun/safe activity for the local kids. Walking distance from many locally owned coffee shops which are a popular hang out spot for teenagers. Grover beach police are amazing, friendly, helpful, neighborly, and respond quickly. Only downside is lots of beach issues which makes this a very noise town due to fire trucks/ambulances frequenting the main access to Grover beach (grand ave) "
  • Michelle B.
"I only commute 5 blocks so it is great! Although if you need a bus it is centrally locates and the freeway is fairly easy to get to as well "
  • Wjakerowley
" There arenโ€™t any streetlamps so at night it can be very dark and creepy there are lots of homeless people roaming the streets both night and day"
  • Michelle B.
"I have lived here for almost 4 years and love the area and my neighbors are friendly, quiet and clean. "
  • Sherri M.
"There are great parks around and neighbors are always walking their dogs around. Thereโ€™s also a dog park close in Arroyo Grande. "
  • Sherri M.
"Iโ€™ve lived here for three years and plan to stick around. Itโ€™s beautiful and quiet and close to the beach. Itโ€™s not as busy as Pismo but the beach is perfect and there is a walking path that runs along the beach to the Monarch Butterfly grove. "
  • Krplatt
"Walkable neighborhood, variety of restaurants, water views, friendly people, dog friendly, quiet at night. "
  • Mimiroselll
"Life is good. The beach is in walking distance as well as the town of Pismo Beach and Grover Beach. Fins is very nearby for a cocktail and you can bring your friendly dog. Life is very good in this area. People actually respect each other. Peace and tranquility is abounding. I took my car to the beach and got very stuck in the sand. People of all ages helped me to get out of the sand. I was extremely grateful for their help. "
  • Sonjasalmeron
"my neighborhood is near the beach and is a tourist hot spot. a good portion of the homes are rentals. "
  • Alesha L.
"I have lived here for over 12 years and I absolutely love this area! People are so friendly and happy. Who wouldnโ€™t be with a blocks walk to the beach...prices are too high for us to survive here though. Must have a great job or be retired to live here. Sad but true. We will miss the coast and hope to buy here one day."
  • Nikademas
"Nice place. Definitely up and coming.. Walkability factor is high and right by the beach! Great for investment properties! "
