I have no idea how they are ranking this school. 2 years ago my son was in a school in Mission, Texas. And he absolutely hated it. Teachers were not helpfull, he got bullied alot. Spoke with school system, yet no result. I personally had to speak with bully's parents to have it stopped. (This Elementary school is ranked 8/10). Then we moved to winder. I see the school ranking in 2/10. First I was disappointed. Then I spoke with the principal. OMG the ranking is wrong. My son and now my daughter loves going to school every day. They have no issues making new friends. This is his 2nd year in winder elementary. And if this school is so bad at education, how come my son is 24/25 barrow county spelling bee champion. Everyone in winder elementary, thank you for everything you do for our kids. I know I appreciate all the help I get from the teachers and staff.

"it's a great place due to easy access to Athens, gwinnet, and getting to the mountain and state parks. is easy access. where i live now I am ok with it. it's just some people don't care what there place looks. I do care. I'm moving to the mountains with in 2 years. so I can deal with it. "
