I have taught at Sixth Ward for more than 11 years. The staff have been great over the years I have been here. The students are anxious to learn and are excited to learn new things. The administration is always available to address the concerns of the students and the teachers at any time. Both the parents and PTA are actively involved with student life on this campus. The school is well kept and clean due to a very caring custodial staff that also keep a close and watchful eye on all our students. SWE for me is like being home...you don't want to leave because everyone feels like family. JOIN US!!

"safe area to live. but no public transport. small community. doesnt know anyone here. no groceries like walmart or department store. except dollar general and family dollar. few gas station too. no easy transport. so u need to own a car. but parking is not a problem traffic is not a problem. no such crime as well"
