This neighborhood is safe, quiet and just the right distance (not too close, not too far) from downtown, the campus, Davis-Monthan and of course all the lovely wilderness. My neighbors are friendly, and look out for each other, and many are log term. The neighborhood is diverse and welcoming. A great place if you speak English or Spanish or both! I am from California and my wife is from Mexico. We have two dogs spend a lot of time in the yard and at Reid Park. Neither of us have ever felt unsafe or unwelcome. And yet with all of this, the neighborhood remains very affordable. I would like to see a coffee shop, but other than that, I believe Julia Keen neighborhood is a hidden treasure. I hope it stays that way!"

    "I used to live here. Just a few blocks from the park (with two dog parks), bandstand, zoo, golf course, rose garden...All walking distance. On the other side of the golf course is the El Con mall. Banking, shopping, dining, Target, Home Depot (my favorite) and lots of specialty shops. Close to downtown, close to the Air Force base.
