8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average100+. This school was and I'm sure still is,the absolute best elementary school. I am honored I had the opportunity to attend it when I was young. If I have kids and I ever return to Arkansas I am most certainly going to enroll them in Hugh Goodwin Academy for the Arts. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe tried to get our daughter into Hugh Goodwin because we heard that it was the best elementary school in El dorado. She ended up going to Northwest and it turned out to be just fine. Her teacher was energetic and friendly and communicated well with us. I visited the school on a few occasions and students seemed happy and comfortable. My daughter's behavior problems all but disappeared after her first year here. I also was very happy that as a kinder gardener she didn't have any homework. Class dojo was a lifesaver. My baby girl is reading up a storm!Parent Review9y ago - Washington Middle School

At morning drop-off, all staff are friendly and greet my girl with a smile and know her by name. The secretary recognizes my child and is friendly. She loves the new swings on the playground and gets two recesses a day. Her favorite class is science lab. She said they planted flowers in the garden boxes today.Parent Review5y ago
