I would suggest that parents find an other school to send their children to. Please, research online and ask other parents about their experiences at Boyce Elementary to get the real story. We regret putting our trust into Boyce Elementary with our young children, it took quite a long time undo what had been done.

my son get bullied by the teacher for having to many apple jucies

As someone who went to this school and has seen it all, I wouldn’t recommend this school. In some classes there were super nice teachers such as the english teachers, science teachers and the math plus history/gov teachers. In others the teachers do not make it enjoyable and have shown clear signs of favoritism towards their students which peers have expressed. I’ve seen poc who’ve gotten longer disciplinary sentences involving fights or conflicts than students who are white which is awful of a double standard.Social and emotional support exists but not in more severe situations such as homophobia between students, racism, bullying AND mental health. This school has had situations involving racism that they try to cover up and teachers who claim these cases are “false/misinformation” involving staff when I’ve seen it and many other students have as well. The people who participate in this behavior get told simple things such as “don’t do that!” or “be nice!” when kids have been bullied, harassed or even attacked by peers for various things.I cannot speak much about the special education program here but I know a couple of friends who either have didn’t care for or loved it… I’d say it’s a good program since I have met nice peers who were in it. Although it depends with your own experience, I’d personally take precaution with involving your child in this school system as they do not look deeply into situations involving harassment.
