"Very pet friendly neighborhood, very little traffic off the main highway and even that isn't that busy. I don't think there are any breed restrictions. I dont hear dogs barking in our neighborhood. People seem to pick up after their dogs."
  • Bobby H.
"This community is very dog and animal friendly. Citizens watch out for each other’s dogs and help each other out. "
  • Mgoeckler
"Wakefield is on Milford lake. We have lived and worked in this community. The k/12 school is great for the family as well. The small town is a place to raise your children and enjoy hunting, fishing and water activities. This community also has churches to help you grow in your faith walk with the Lord. You will be pleasantly surprised with this great small town which is 20 minutes from Fort Riley, Junction City, Clay Center and 30 minutes from Manhattan. "
