"Lived here for about 4 years, some neighbors are nice others get mad over parking in front of their house."
  • Lilanttbeats

  • Kendrick Keys
"They would like everything about this neighborhood. We have a great park that goes for blocks east and west. Also south and north"
  • Trulia User
"Kids And Mothers Shouldn’t Be Just Outside Here Drama From Here To There But If Your Premises Has Camera Or A Security Your Fine"
  • Trulia User
"It’s a very beautiful and nice quiet community I would love to raise kids here. The park is definitely a vibe "
  • Trulia User
"The neighbors watch what goes on and look out for each other. The neighbors notify and cooperate with the police. I have lived in this community for over twenty one years and have watched the changing demographics. The neighborhood was very diverse with senior citizens and incoming new families with young children. Those children grew up and those neighbors are retired now. Some sold their homes and moved to warmer climates. Some sold their home and moved in with their children. Some sold their homes and went to senior citizen housing. Some passed on and their children sold their houses. Twenty years ago, we started a neighborhood association (block club). Everyone in the community do not have a block club, but the ones that do or did had more involvement and a greater sense of community. All the neighbors knew each other and looked out for each other. "
  • Trulia User
"The are is family influenced. Everyone knows everyone. Crime is a factor, however it is a safe place to live and grow a family. "
  • Trulia User
"lived here for years it's ok safe just used to living here ! I will be ok living here! Renta is affirdable"
  • Trulia User
"Schools the environment could be better I mean every where you go it’s violence but it’s all about how you live your life but it’s manageable to live in this neighborhood "
  • Trulia User
"My commute is pretty easy there is bus terminal multiple busses that lead to the train great way to get to downtown"
  • Arthurjacosta
"public transportation, Downtown , Midway Airport, private schools, restaurants , food stores , big name shopping stores, 2 malls, near South west suburbs, interstates, All within Minutes from this area "

  • Chazma5587
"There is no Parking available unless you make it home before 4:00 pm.. everyone looks out for each other children and the school is very good they really care about the kids.. all of the single family homes have more than three cars parked on each block even though they have a garage and a drive up.. this makes things more Dudu out for others "
  • Joleena R.
"Dogs constantly barking and one neighbor keeps there dog outside all day and until 9ish while it’s freezing outside. Every person who walks by or small thing the dog barks. Some days naps are impossible here!"
  • Chazma5587
"Cool neighbors, more elderly couples but the parking sucks every house have like five cars each so parking is a negative unless you have a garage you will be walking almost a half of block to your apartment "
  • Findleylolita
"It’s a nice neighborhood people out well mannered we have a neighborhood watch everyone is nice and friendly"
  • Samuel W.
"The area is family friendly with lots of restaurants and neary stores. Close to major shopping districs and lots of schools."

  • Denice C.
"The commute is not so bad sometimes buses take very long and are over crowded with wayyy to many people "
  • Hinesshinina
"You see people walking their dogs. Although tbere are a few loose dogs that roam the area, but they aren't a threat."
  • Jj R.
"It’s not a very safe area to live in especially at night. I would not trick or treat here, leave cars unlocked, house door unlocked or would not let my kids play outside alone. So far, the area is cleaning up and more friendlier neighbors are moving in."
  • Msannmac
"The commute is great ! We have the train and bus excess 24 hours! I personally don’t use public transportation, I drive. But the neighbors here have 4 to 5 families living in their houses and apartment, with more than 3 cars each! Parking is terrible!"
  • Samanthawright1216
