I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone! Constant fights, gang activity, they can catch kids who sell snacks but they somehow never catch the kids who are selling weed??? They don’t do anything about BLATANT racism another student called me the n word and it was just swept under the rug. Half the teachers act like they’re being forced to be here. The food has been cold, had hairs in it, the other day the onions in my taco bowl were literally SPOILED. Inappropriate teachers don’t get addressed either. To top it all off this school has a SERIOUS bullying problem!!!! I want to transfer so bad! I regret the day I walked through those doors.

Terrible school. I CANNOT wait for my daughter to be out of this school. I just keep telling myself… 1 more month just 1 more.They refuse children bathroom breaks and say it’s only allowed when the whole class goes. My daughter has a doctor’s note on file to not be denied bathroom breaks due to them denying her all last year to the point where I spent $100’s taking her to urgent cares, ER, and to her pediatrician and she was placed on 2-3 different laxatives because she was severely constipated. Also had to get my daughter removed from her homeroom teachers’ classroom because she practically bullied my child and their best solution was we will move her to her switch teachers classroom as her homeroom teacher and then the teacher who bullies will be her switch teacher. Uhhh ok so that fixes what exactly? I yelled at a teacher in the carpool line telling my child and her friend they were holding the line up when really they weren’t because I still had a vehicle in front of me who had not moved so it’s not like I could move my vehicle up. I told the teacher that it was not ok and she told me “ma’am you need to go!” If I had not needed to go back home I would have put my car in park and said now I will hold the line up. This school is terrible. Stay FAR FAR AWAY!!!! The assistant principal who left and went to be a principal at another elementary in the area made that school so much better but when she left this school went downhill. Not only do you not get to have a field day with your child but you don’t get to come to any of the holiday parties or anything for that matter. It’s literally one of the worst schools in KISD. Seriously, move away if you’re zoned here. Believe me, you will thank me later!

One of the worst schools! Staff does not communicate with parents. Other students are allowed to bring weapons to school and none of the counselors, and administrators stay in touch with parents. Students can get away with any behavior. Very disappointed.
