I think the rating of 2 out of a possible 10 says all we need to know how are children are being taught at OHCHS.

Was a wonderful school at the beginning of my year there, very soon drama picked up with no teacher involvement. Changed to bullying over school email with no step in, then got in a physical altercation (I did not start it and simply defended myself.) Got in-school suspension, permanent mark on my record, and was banned from school dance... girl who attacked me got the same just with an out of school. I was treated like an instigator and almost forced to leave sports team.... pretty bad school. Was forced to switch teams and schools because of bullying.

The teachers in this school are focused on making sure every child learns. My child has been receiving extra help in reading for a couple years and they reach out to me, as a parent, to make sure I know how I can help at home. Testing information is shared with parents and we are given lots of information to help us know what to do at home. The school is almost brand new and offers lots of extras that the other schools in the district don't have, because they are older. I wouldn't want my child anywhere else and dread the day she has to go to the middle school. We bought in Paris just so we could attend this wonderful school. Hats off to their great staff, who care about each child!
