It features about 3 acres of open grassy area directly around the house with no fencing. It has lovely open fields, which were part of a family Farm long ago. There is a small patio in the back of the house and a clothes line close to the back door near the washer and dryer.
There is a laundry shoot from the upstairs main bathroom to the laundry room for convenience.

GREAT VIEWS of Mount Mansfield and Camels Hump
This is a very nice 3 Bedroom colonial 2200 sq ft, 2.5 Bath home with attached breeze way or mud room -(which has radiant heat) nice windows , and large ATTACHED 2 story, 2 car garage (which has electric door openers), and a bonus room in the basement. The updated kitchen is spacious with new quartz countertops, Bosch dishwasher, gas cook stove. Includes French door style refrigerator with ice maker, an over the stove microwave. It features the original wide plank spruce flooring and a maple butcher block island, many cabinets, and a new Hearthstone wood burning stove.
The Washer and Dryer are located on the main floor near the kitchen and half bathroom. In the Living Room there are built in bookcases, a built in desk, a lovely bay window overlooking Camel's hump and a Thermostat digital remote propane Soapstone heating stove, and features Brazilian Cherry hard wood flooring. The three bedrooms up stairs are fairly large and all have nice size closets. The master bedroom (20' x 24') has his and her closets and a very pretty view with plenty of space for a sewing or desk for remote work. The full bath is located next to the master bedroom on the second floor which was updated in 2020 and features a soak tub and a sliding glass Barn door style, to complete the "farm country" look. The 3 bedrooms and hallway have hardwood hickory flooring.

Because of the wood floors through out this is a "no shoes" home. (Shoes are left in the Mud room or Breezeway).

The house is heated with a new sophisticated computerized oil efficient Buderus boiler furnace, a propane digital remote stove in the living room and you may use the new Soapstone wood stove in the kitchen. The energy efficient heat pump Water heater has a dehumidifier in the basement.

New energy efficient windows have been installed through out.

There is an Automatic Briggs & Stratton Generator, a fairly large garden in the back of the house and a Shed which houses the zero turn riding mower and push mower and weed wacker.
(Please note there is some furniture to be stored mainly in cellar by owner. You may utilize some pieces of furniture if you wish which is what previous renters did.)
One small PET may be considered. A pet deposit is required if a pet is accepted.
1 year lease starting August 1, 2026 with the possibility of renewal for a second year. Please text or email and I will respond to all SERIOUS INQUIRIES. I can provide pictures of the inside of the house and garage. A time can be arranged to view the house in person or via video or facetime.

August 1, start date for a one year lease with consideration to renew for another year.

Please provide application and financial credit ability, prior rental and other references, a damage security deposit, first and last months rent and a cleaning deposit of $400.

Lease August 1, 2026 to July 31, 2027 (with possibility of renewing for 1 more year).
Rent is due the first of each month to be deposited in landlord's designated account.
You may have guests for short visits. There is to be no subletting or subleasing to any other people.
There is NO smoking of any kind by any person in or around the house or property.
This is a no shoes home. Shoes and boots are to be put in mud room prior to entering the house.

You are responsible for utilities (Green Mountain Power-electric), oil and propane with established Suburban Propane, WiFi and phone through (Consolidated Communications) through the phone line and DirectTV or DISH are available.
You may use Star Link Satellite for WiFi at your expense. The zero turn cub cadet riding mower, self propelled gas mower and weed wacker are for you to mow and trim the lawn each week in spring/summer for the property maintenance from May - September. (Should you wish to hire a Lawn maintenance person the landlord has the contact info for someone good0.
Snow plowing and Water are included in the rent.

You are responsible for garbage/trash and recycling.
You take your garbage and recycling to the Worcester Transfer Station, which is open each Saturday 7:30 am -1pm about 2 miles from the house. Or you may pay and use Casella Waste Management
