I have 3 students at Loring and cannot say enough about the administration, faculty & staff. Since the last review was written, there have been much needed staffing changes, including a wonderful Principal and Assistant Principal who have made Loring a truly special place.My children do not have special needs, but have been in several inclusion classrooms over the years. The school and district do an amazing job to respond to the need of the individual student. There is grace for the behavior of children still learning how to behave in school, but a pervasive attitude of inclusivity and very strong socio-emotional supports. One of my children has a class where 2-3 students would be bullied at any other school. In this school they had 3x the SEO and guidance support and the classroom became a wonderfully supportive environment. It’s the only time I had a child insist on inviting the whole class to her birthday party (“Its fine if they don’t come and they probably won’t but I wouldn’t want a classmate to feel left out!”). This from my most self-centered child. The PTO is wonderful and Loring is probably the most diverse elementary in Sudbury both racially and economically. We have many ESL students. Go loring!

Bullying, harassment, evil teachers, incompetent staff that were just on Insta the whole day!

I think the lessons are great and I have learned a lot so far from my teachers, but I sometimes hear vulgar and impolite comments being made about others, which has made the school environment not very pleasant for me. I am disabled and I'd say the accommodations are okay. Not super good, but not bad either. Similarly for the emotional support, It isn't terrible but it could be better. I recommend this school only because the classes are good and you'd learn a lot
