About this House

Wonderfully Unique Lafayette Home

We are currently finishing the redecorating and the house will be ready October 1.

This home is set in a beautiful wooded area with Springhill Elementary as the nearest school. The house sits on 1 1/2 acre lot on a private road. 5bed/4bath. Can be 4 or 5 bedrooms depending upon your needs. We have used one bedroom for an office and it will also work as a family room. There is a private entrance for one of the bedrooms downstairs. The house is approximately 2,700 sq. ft. with a deck and pool area of 2,500 sq.ft. The deck also has a built-in BBQ. The detached garage will hold 2+ cars. A lot of storage.

Driving up the road and into the driveway you feel like you are in the country but actually it is only 10 minutes from downtown Lafayette. Our property backs up to Briones Regional Park with thousands of acres park property within walking distance.

New gas range and new dishwasher. The kitchen has a sunroom addition for a large kitchen and plenty of light. There is no formal dining room but we have seated 20 people in the kitchen for holiday dinners. Laminate flooring in the kitchen. Trash compactor.

3 full baths upstairs and 1 full bath downstairs. 3 skylights for a wonderfully light house. 2 working fireplaces.

The living room has a cathedral ceiling and in addition to the front door has two patio doors. The living room also has almost floor to ceiling dual pane windows that looks out onto the huge deck and pool/spa. We have spent many hours viewing wildlife from the living room, including deer, turkeys, coyotes, hawks, raccoons, squirrels and turkey vultures. Our home backs up to Briones Regional park so there is no shortage of wildlife. Plenty of trees surround the house for maximum privacy.

New hardwood floors throughout the upstairs and on the stairs. New carpet and vinyl downstairs.
Central heat and AC. All rooms are cable ready for internet, TV and phone. Dual pane windows.

This home is in the very desirable Lafayette school district which is one of the best in the state. Springhill Elementary School, Stanley Middle School and Acalanes High School. There is a school bus service (for a fee) to Springhill and Stanley with a stop at the end of the road. School registration information can be found at http
