This is a decent school, but I still wouldn't give it a thumbs up. Some teachers care about the students and their grades and others won't even attempt to teach at a student's learning method. The teachers who do care get involved with the parents and the students (and you can tell there are few good teachers at this school) and work through problems that may be at home or in the learning area. The discipline in this school is also lacking. There are often fights, profanity, and drug busts. Also, the school is filthy! The bathrooms have missing toilets (dirty toilets too) and the hall floors are caked in dirt and dust. A custodian is famous among the students for sleeping in the men's room and fixing his truck in the school parking lot. The school also has free breakfasts and according to most students, sometimes their breakfast isn't even cooked thoroughly.

Both of my children attend PES and I don't have any complaints about their teachers!! I will admit that there is somewhat a discipline issue, however discipline starts at home!!!! If children don't have structure, discipline and routines at home when they start school they will cut up, act out and even bullie others because they get away with it at home.
