My child is doing great but I do take extra time to show her at home. I have seen that children who do well academically aren’t really recognized , instead it’s the opposite for those who don’t. My child’s teacher is great but I believe she lacks support from the school leaders. The classes on beginner levels are overcrowded for one teacher and this year they started with 3 kinder classes , too many kids for one teacher . The school added one more class to kinder but later to find out it was because teachers spoke up. It makes me question if they really care at all. When there’s an issue/ complaint with anything admin usually ignores it. Poor communication from front office .

"One hour each way. With good traffic. Often a 55 mile an hour road means traveling 35-45 miles an hour behind tourists who don pull over. Other than that it’s a beautiful drive"

"Having lived in the Pine Ridge area for almost 20 years before moving away, I miss all of the wonderful people, trees and nature. It is a great place to raise children with safe and excellent schools or just enjoy the majestic mountains and beauty. "

"Quiet area with lots of privacy yet only 8 miles to the Shaver Lake Area and just 35 minutes to Clovis. At 4,200 elevation, this is the best value and location for year round mountain enjoyment. "

"Pine Ridge School is great and highly rated. Folks buy up here to get their children into that school. If you love the outdoors there is no better place to live with so much to do. We have lived up here for 30+ years and love it."

"Its a great area! We have a great view of the mountains and we are only 30 mins from Shaver Lake for all your outdoor fun! Were not far from the high school or the grade school.There are 4-H groups in the area and zoning for animals.We have our own well and some fruit trees.There are oak, pine,and red woods on the property.Its been a great place for us to live!"
