My child is bullied. The teachers don’t care. He given less attention because he has top grades. The teachers fail to engage and train him because they would have to give him accelerated work. His is not going back. He will be taking on-line classes next year.

This schools bullying problem is really horrible. Even though they have a full anti bullying policy, they have yet to prove that. No actions are taken against unruly students and the actual good and listening children get treated horribly. A 7th grade (as of 2024-2025) kid (unnamed) was bullied for being supposedly Jewish. The principals were informed of this and they said that they were going to take action... They had waited until the end of the year with no actions tooken. No kids were suspended or even talked to! The schools system had failed this child by just leaving them in the dark. Guidance was only informed, by the mother and child themselves until the next year. If you want to go to a school where your kid feels safe, do not go to Elbert County Schools.

My kid is in 3rd grade. Teachers has no use for teaching as they depend on tablets. My son is require to to inform me what’s his assignments, yet he doesn’t even remember the school work he did in school. I have to guess what he is learning everyday he never gets homework and I never know when he get tested because my son responsibilities is to inform me. Yet my son has no desire to learn because he struggles at school and he does not want to to bring that struggle home. I call the school my son goes to school with a brand new folder and notebook which is not used. I was told to look into his computer without my son assistant I will never find anything on my own. I call the school to schedule appointments or to talk to teachers no response.They plan to fail students education is not important in this school for some teachers. Never had this problem before.
