The leadership and staff at L.E. White are second to none! A great environment for kids.

Most of the classes are good but the people in them are not in my opinion. Certain teachers and students i think shouldnt be here because of the way they act is horrible. some teachers seem like they dont even care, students can be yelling and talking loudly while people are supposed to be working and the teacher wont do anything about it. How are kids or students that actually care about their grades supposed to work while everyone and everything around them is distracting and destructive. Some of the rules here i dont like either, i find it very dumb that we cant wear headphones during work time. spotify literally comes with the computers or chromebooks they give us and even then theres also the spotify, soundcloud, apple music websites, so the issue obliviously isn't our phones. So kids cant focus in class and if they wanted to listen to music to sound out all the other kids yelling, they cant because we cant even have headphones. I was surprised when they finally let us wear hats to school. Another thing is that 5 maybe 10 % of the student are actually skipping classes or wandering the halls not literally every student so how is it fair to take away tigervention from the other 95-90% of the students who actually care.

West Ward is an amazing school! My son had a wonderful experience there. The teachers are kind and caring, the principal goes out of her way for each and every student. The special education teacher and the paras at this elementary are wonderful, full of good ideas and ways to support and educate the children that need additional assistance. If you are lucky enough to be able to send your child to West Ward, you will not regret it. I’m surprised on the (rare) occasions I hear other parents complain. The problems generally have more to do with the parents and the home life they provide, not the school or teachers.
