"Hermann is so unique among small towns in that even though it's a small town by every definition, it has so much going on all throughout the year! Nice restaurants & coffee shops, new library with an art gallery, public parks and swimming pool, great school system, local taverns and nightlife, wineries, hospital w/emergency services, fire dept., pharmacies, grocery stores & pet supplies. I could go on and on, but basically you have everything you need in this town with exception to special appliances or need lawn equip.ent, or an abundance of clothing shopping. For that you may need to drive to Washington, about 30 minutes away. This small town friendly atmosphere just can't be beat, plus it's beautiful with lots of mature trees!"
  • Jeanne S.
"I live in the same area. Hermann is a nice quiet river town. Friendly people that are willing to help in most ways. Stores are easily accessible by walking or riding a bike. I like it here. "
