A beautiful home in trendy Greenwood. Come see why families have been insisting on calling this neighborhood home!
An attached three-story brick house with a spacious garden, original details and an easy layout to layout as you wish. Currently being used as a three-family, the options are endless depending on the family's preference. The first floor offers a one-bedroom floor plan with an option to use as a two bedroom, while the 2nd and 3rd floors are two bedrooms with excellent natural light and charm. Large front windows with high ceilings, and all the kitchens receive direct sunlight with open space for a table and chairs. Each floor offers its own personality and warmth while keeping much of the building's originality intact.
Some would consider duplexing the owner's unit and leaving one unit for rental income, or other variations that are also easy enough to consider. The first floor is currently vacant, while the basement is in excellent condition and leads to the backyard. The fenced backyard is 60 feet of garden and sun. In total two apartments are vacant while one can be delivered vacant or with the wonderful tenant.
The home is well located at the intersection of Greenwood and Park Slope, close to subway lines and Prospect Park and so many restaurants, bars, shops and markets, and the best schools. On the market for sale after being in the family for nearly 60 years, take advantage of the opportunity and schedule your appointment today!

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe feel so fortunate that our child attended PS 10. The teachers our child had were experienced and passionate educators. Principal Laura Scott is devoted to making her school serve its community. Our child decided they are non-binary at the end of third grade. When I suggested bringing in the Ackerman Institute to do a training for the staff, Principal Scott did that. And when, in our last year, I suggested that the school should have a GSA Club for 4th and 5th graders, Vice Principal Gary Nusser jumped on board, and Principal Scott matched me up with a teacher (rock star 2nd grade teacher Maribeth Dono) who spearheaded that effort. We started the program with five kids, and had sixteen within a month or two. The kids marched in Brooklyn Pride this year-- such a validating experience for them. But that's just the sort of administration this school has. Vigorous to give their students have a safe, supportive, top notch education.Parent Review10mo ago - Jhs 88 Peter Rouget

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has had a wonderful education experience at Peter Rouget MS88 (Smart House). This middle school is a very positive and welcoming learning environment. The entire staff (principal, admin, parent-teacher, teachers) are all very passionate about seeing their students succeed. The academics and curriculum are strong and balanced. My son will be graduating 8th grade with confidence and the tools to succeed. We feel very fortunate to have found this school and we highly recommend MS88. Kerri Helliwell (Ian Bernstein).Parent Review1y ago - Park Slope Collegiate

"Greenwood is so beautiful. The only thing I hate abt here is that it’s so expensive and it’s so hard to find a place to park ur car. But if you have the money and patience to own a car and find a parking space this is the right place for you. There’s rlly good nearby schools I attended ps295 and new voices which is in the same building and I absolutely loved my time there"

"Green word is such a beautiful place to live. It’s not noisy might be cause of holidays but that’s it. Safe at all hours and days. Close to transportation. I live near 5th ave and always take the R or B63. But it is a hard time to find a place to park your car and it is expensive but if you have the money and have patience with finding parking then this is the right place for you. And it’s close to schools if you have kids "

"You cannot take your dog into Greenwood cemetery so I’m commenting on the person who said people don’t pick up after their dogs in the cemetery. In general, many people do not pick up after their dogs past 6th Avenue down to 4th between 15th street and 23rd. It’s a problem. We have dogs and continually pick up after people when our dogs go in an effort to keep our streets clean. "
