Unless your family has been here since the town was founded, don't send your kids here. If you're not related, your child will be treated differently. The education is severely lacking with the majority of 4th graders being unable to read. Bullying runs rampant. Teachers and staff are on a power trip and will bully children to fuel their ego. Safety is of no concern. The secretary attempted to give me the wrong child whenever I went to pick my child up from school early one day. When it comes to the pickup line, as long as you have a name, they'll put that child in your vehicle with no identification required.

The high school teachers really do care for their students. Speaking for the 2020/2021 school year, I can say that all of the teachers, from the HS Math teacher (Mrs. Chapman) to the band director (Mrs. Garrison), pour their heart into helping teach and encourage each and every one of their kids. The way of teaching that some teachers have can seem a bit hard at times, but work well and helps students learn in the end.
