I spent all 4 years at this high school, and my experience is kind of iffy. Yes, there were some good teachers, but other teachers at this school were horrible. The teacher's use some of the same methods of teaching that were used during the covid years, just showing videos and not explaining or going over what was learned. The environment is not welcoming and fights happen every week at the school, providing an unsafe environment for students there actually trying to learn. The school also only prepares you for college if you are staying in-state, if you're planning on going to an out of state school, nobody is going to help you. The school will also prioritize the students doing well in classes and not give an equal opportunity to students having problems learning, some teachers only teaching in a way that is made to help certain types of students learn (like type a learners). In addition to the horrible education at this school, the funding for programs goes mainly to athletics, leaving little to no money for other programs. Overall, I would not recommend a parent looking to send their child to this school unless they are looking to emotionally traumatize them.

Parents should focus less of schools overall education performance numbers and focus on the diversity rate percentages. There’s a reason Wake Forest Heritage Elementary is 18% Black and/African American.

I went to this school for all of my middle school year. It was amazing. Especially being on Track 4. All of the 8th grade teachers were so memorible and amazing. Send your kid to this school if you want them to have a great education, great principles, good environment, and teachers who feel like mothers and fathers too you. Ms. Kithcart was an amazing teacher and I absolutely adore her. The admin are tough but they are nice as well. The only major thing that I felt like I had a problem here with was the students. Some of them were very cocky and thought they were better than everyone else. They ignored me and through me aside like trash. However, aside from that this is a great school and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great education. And run track for Coach Moyer amazing coach.
