Columbine Middle School has exceeded our expectations in every possible way, offering an exceptional educational experience for our child.From the outset, Columbine Middle School impressed us with its commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment. The teachers are genuinely passionate about education and go above and beyond to ensure every student succeeds. They are approachable, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in the well-being and academic progress of their students.The curriculum is thoughtfully designed to challenge students while promoting a love for learning. It's comprehensive, engaging, and tailored to meet the diverse needs of the student body. Our child has gained not only academic knowledge but also critical thinking skills, a sense of responsibility, and a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.Moreover, the school's extracurricular activities and clubs provide wonderful opportunities for students to explore their interests, develop new skills, and form lasting friendships. Whether it's sports, arts, or technology, there's something for everyone.The administration deserves a special mention for their effective communication and responsiveness. They are always available to address concerns, celebrate achievements, and ensure the school is a safe and welcoming place for all students.Columbine Middle School also places a strong emphasis on community and parent involvement, creating a sense of partnership that enriches the educational experience for students. This collaborative spirit is one of the many reasons we feel fortunate to be part of the Columbine Middle School family.

When it comes to the overall experience at MHS it is hard to say that the school has a lot to offer. Although on paper there seems to be a lot of classes that students can take, you quickly learn that a lot of classes end up teaching the same thing. This year (2024-2025) many of the teachers in the math department especially seam unqualified to teach or have a lack of knowledge. The administration of the school lacks the ability to take student advice on how to properly better the school and in turn place rules and regulations that create a new and usually worse situation. Lastly the school counselors seem to blow off the needs of students especially when given complaints about a teacher or a request to change to a different teacher because of a lack of learning ability with the one they were assigned. Overall this school needs a lot of work to successfully help their students be successful:

OGES provides a safe and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable and cared for each day. The teachers are exceptional—dedicated, attentive, and genuinely invested in each student’s success. The school’s thoughtful approach to learning fosters confidence, independence, and critical thinking. Students also benefit from OGES farm and STEM opportunities that offer hands-on, real-world experiences- chickens, garden tending, rabbits, sheep and more. Overall, it’s a well-rounded environment where safety, learning, and personal growth are all top priorities.
