In my opinion,this school isn't as bad as people say it is ,I say they need to work on the security and safety here way more.The teachers aren't so bad although there is certain teachers who aren't the best,but an honorable mention that i'd say is a great teacher here at Peary middle school for 6th grade is Mrs.Kim,she provides a safe learning environment for her students and she praises her students for their achievements,not to mention all of her classes have turned out to be very smart and I say that's because of her teaching.But besides that,there is often fights here and people getting hurt and the office staff don't provide much support to family members which needs a change! PE teachers aren't bad either.An honorable mention for the PE teachers is Fletcher.He is super generous and he doesn't often yell at kids for no reason and he's fair to students.Although,I wouldn't recommend this school.

I absolutely love this school. 4 of my kids have been to this school and I’ve seen it grow and develop. My oldest is on his way to High School this year.The school takes parental concerns seriously, addresses any issues and complaints in a timely manner and most importantly the safety of everyone is one at the top of the list. This past school year they implemented valet parking to facilitate the drop off of students and ensure safety so there is no need to cross the street.The teachers are great and keep me informed of my children’s behavior and progress. My children have never complained about their teachers. My youngest finished TK here at Gardena Elementary and is moving on to kindergarten so I still have 6 school years to go and I strongly recommend and support this school.

This review is long overdue. My daughter graduated from Gardena High School in 2007, back then the school was great, she had an amazing 4 year run. Not sure how it is now, as I have no school age children :) After graduating my daughter went on to Tuskegee University, got her BSN at age 20, continued her studies and received her Masters Degree. She is a ARNP (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner), AIRBNB Owner, Private School Owner and Real Estate owner. Gardena High was definitely part of her success and journey. She met so many friends at Gardena and to this day they are still very close professional friends. Kudos to Gardena High :)
