This school has constant bus cancellations, constant safety concerns, school lunches are disgusting, the offer sugar donuts for breakfast, there is no tutoring available, skyward school online program for parents to access does not give information I need regarding my child. my child is never excited to go to this school and I’ve heard poor things regarding teachers that are absolutely disturbing!

I went to this school district 1st-12th. EES was a great place with wonderful teachers that really helped shape my development. EMS was full of horrors. Constant bullying being reported, fights observed, and yet no one was there to help the students with their mental health at the time and would send them to ISS which included a cubby and looking at a wall. I never got ISS, but it was never unnoticed from me that the students that were constantly there did NOT receive sufficient help with their home life or personal well-being. EHS was good for a time until it came to certain teachers. Why is there one Spanish educator responsible for teaching 9th-12th grade by themselves? Teachers were constantly being pushed around by students which made the learning environment hostile. If you are not a prominent family in this town, good luck. They really like to play favorites here. Regarding myself, I had many mental health issues that caused me to be out of school and teachers instead of supporting me, tried to make an effort so I would not pass their class even with my efforts to work hard to pass and communicate with the office staff for help. During COVID, I decided to do running-start and I had never been happier to not walk around in those halls. I can say that there are positives to growing up in this town but there needs to be a huge change in the support from the school if you want well-rounded children in the future.

Im going to be an 8th grader and this school has helped me learn and become who I am now. The teacher can be mean at times but that's because some students don't want to listen. The teachers and staff are nice and kids get along. I am so proud to go to this school!!
