9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to go to this school. Now, this school sucked at accommodating students with mental health struggles/issues. They cared more about getting you back to class. 3+ counselors/social worker for what? If you have a child who struggles, I wouldn't recommend sending them here because it's just too unreliable. But I will say that most of the school was not so bad. Many teachers were well liked among students. In my experience, the only problems me and my family had, were with administration. And that obviously makes it hard to effectively communicate and ensure a supportive environment, which is why I put only two stars. The school tries, on paper they try, but when it comes to taking action and providing proper support, they don't do well as a whole. There are definitely some staff/teachers who do their best to offer and provide support, but without administration putting in consistent effort to come up with a working support plan; that lone support only does so much. Just don't send your kid to this school if they struggle with mental health. Chances are they won't be provided proper consistent support.Other Review1mo ago4 Reviews - Prairie Ridge Middle School

"The school district has exploded and its no longer a small suburb but a large city. The schools have gone down hill in my opinion. Traffic is heavy, rent is high. It’s a well maintained city with lots of activities to do and nice parks and trails nearby. "

" Short. Less than a mile. Busy during what is developing into a rush hour. Community is growing rapidly and there are some congested areas during certain times. The heaviest being from 6:30 to 8:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:40 to 6:30 p.m."
