About this House

About the unit itself: This 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse has been a great home to our family or the last 2 years. It is laid out well, bedrooms are good size, and has a lot of storage space for a rental. There is a fenced in back patio area, which has been great for our dog (pets are welcome here!) with more storage outside. The main living area downstairs is open and spacious with multiple options for laying out your furniture. The w/d hookup is downstairs (there is also on-site laundry if you don't have w/d). The bedrooms are all upstairs with the full bathroom, which has been very convenient for us with our 2 young children.

About the community: Woodbridge is located on the east side of town off of 10th and Pete Ellis. It is minutes to the mall, multiple grocery stores, and downtown. It is also located on the bus route. The community has 2 pools, multiple playgrounds, multiple dog parks, tennis courts, basketball courts, and an excellent maintenance team. It is also very quiet, family and pet friendly, and in the 2 years I've lived there I've never had an issue with the office. Schools are University, Tri-North, & North.

Utilities are with Duke, Vectren, and YES (water & trash). Utilities end up being around $130/mo (we have budget billing with Duke and end up getting a couple free months in the summer). We've had both Comcast and AT&T internet as well, both at high speeds.

This is a lease takeover, not a sublet. You will have the ability to continue renting past the July move out date if you want. Move in costs are only $75 (an application with Woodbridge). You will keep our deposit and pet deposit if you have animals. Unit is available within 72 hours of being accepted (if you want to move in in April, or May 1st).

"There are a lot of college kids that live here, myself included. It’s a great investment area, rents are jacked up and high demand but it’s a terrible place to raise kids and a family"
  • Justinblessed1992

  • Lauren Myers
"Many students who live in our neighborhood have dogs or cats. Many pets in our neighborhood are well taken care of and are friendly with neighbors."
  • Trulia User
"I don’t have anything to offer here. There has been some Gun violence and a drug related murder a year ago. Hopefully that has all been resolved. "
  • Trulia User
"Week night dinner with neighbors of the block, events, ball games with kids. Vacation with and friends!!"

  • Trulia User
"A lot of doggie bags and waste can stations. Some green space but not a ton. Depending on your unit you have to walk far to find adequate grassy areas."
  • Fxbanker

  • Julie G.
"lots of walking paths both paved and wooded. most of the apartments have dog parks. lots of bag stations. very dog friendly place."

  • Shaylee S.
"I love being a dog owner in my neighborhood mainly because my dogs plays with all the neighbor dogs. They are buddies now to the point I even dog watch and have doggie dates to get energy out! No complaints in my neighborhood about dogs because they are all either friendly but stay to themselves or they are actually involved in our daily lives where they are our pups friend. Love it a lot."
  • Cmossbrucker
"Country setting quiet private neighborhood. Feel very safe and know my neighbors. Great place to raise kids"
  • Daisha W.
"Fireworks for several hours every night starting in about May and ending a couple weeks after the 4th of July, with random nights of hours-long fireworks here and there. "
  • Carol W. W.
"There is public transportation, but many people bike around town. The B-Line Trail is just a few blocks from my home and it’s an easy way to get downtown."
  • Morgan E. C.
"As long as you’re living on the part that’s no where near Acadia courts then you’re good. People also run the stop sign on the Allendale Winslow entrance so you have to be super careful there, and people drive pretty fast on Allendale . If you have kids make sure you have a fence and not close to the main road "
  • Eileen D.
"I love the social and cultural amenities available here in Bloomington. The arts and music scene are great and having the university here is nice"
