Not too sure what to write…I was a math teacher here for a while.Gee, lately it’s been tough, but was still enjoyable.Getting through the hard times was an obstacle, but we did well!Everyone here is doing very well and we tried our best to ensure success.Recently, it’s been great!So much potential, and lots to come!

My daughter went to Naples Park Elementary K-4 and has spent her final year elementary here at Sabal Palm. This school is so much nicer than NPE all around, better facilities, better communication. I cannot say enough nice things about it. The kids seem to be a nicer group too. When problems have come up, the administration has been quick to address them. Sports Club has been great here as well. I would say I'm going to miss Sabal Palm since she's going to Cypress next year for middle school but I will have a Kindergardener in a little over a year and we get to come back all over again.

From my personal experience, I hated it. Firstly, the school was completely too worried about the WRONG things. Kids were getting bullied all throughout the school and they were complaining about HOODIES. There were countless social media accounts made to trash on students and though Admin threatened to have these kids suspended, nothing ever happened. They were more worried about the kids swapping spit than people constantly being harassed.Secondly, some of the teachers there did not know how to do their jobs, they let loose too much, or were too uptight and did not know how to teach despite that. Teachers there were so unmotivational and did not support you whatsoever. There is clear favoritism as well. In one occasion a student asked her algebra teacher for help and was told that she was gonna fail and that she might need to move down a class, and in the same minute, another kid asked the same question and was given actual assistance.Student services are also awful. You would walk in and they’d direct you to the counselor sheets and it didn’t matter if you labeled it as critical or whatnot, they would never get back to you, or they would, just three months later when it no longer mattered. One time in 6th grade there was a teacher who had a personal grudge against a student, the girl asked to use the bathroom and the teacher ignored her for ages and the girl was crying, hyperventilating because it was getting so bad, and that teacher continued to ignore her or she was told no. It wasn’t even the 10-10 rule, the teacher just didn’t want her to go. It is complete child cruelty to say no to a child who is completely sobbing because of how badly she needed to go. The girl went anyways and the next day she was in ISS. The assistant principal was brought in the next day to tell the kids that apparently going to the bathroom was NOT a right, and if the teacher said no, you weren’t allowed to go. She explained that you should just pee yourself. Another girl who told the girl to just go because she was on the verge of going in her pants and the assistant principal was told about this and she started complaining about how you’re gonna go to phoenix and how you have no rights to disobey someone for your OWN wellbeing. To end it off, all the teachers and admin and some of the students too, are all wack
