I believe the ESL program should be rethought and improved. A low number of students who are in the ESL program end becoming proficient, and there is no enforcement on learning the language and giving engaging activities to those students. Counselors however try to give students the best opportunities and take the most out of students, which is one of the only reasons the school is good. The school is constantly having fights and behavioral problems with undisciplined individuals. I believe there are others school that offer better opportunities and give you better a college readiness. To you who is a parent, before bringing your child to LBHS, check the environment and who your child is friends with, because although there are some great students here, the school does have people who does not care about a future.

My daughter told me a boy made a VERY inappropriate joke about her. I reported it to th councilors there and they did NOTHING about it. Told me “he wouldn’t say that!” What kind of school is this? Very terrible.
