About this House

Cottages on the Point was launched in 2018 and offers a timeless interior styling, stunning outdoor views, and a seasonal (Mid-April to end of September) 14,000 sq. ft. weekend entertainment deck with a shared saltwater pool bar, tiki bar, outdoor kitchen, and live music. As well, each cottage features a private entrance, private waterfront patio, a shared outdoor salon with sunset seating, shared boat dock, and is only steps away from a marvelous shared small craft beach and sunbathing area.

Each cottage has a waterfront view of the historical Bennett's Creek, a flat screen tv, Bose speaker, a generous open floor plan, blackout window treatments, luxurious king size bed, mini fridge, microwave, Keurig, and magnificent ensuite with double sinks and a grand stone and glass walk in rainfall shower with a secondary hand-held spray. Our cottages also offer a cozy reach in closet with rosewood hangers, walnut luggage rack, clothing iron, and ironing board. If that isn't enough to hold your wardrobe, cottages 1 and 2 also offer a full bureau.
The interiors are light and airy, boasting a natural theme that produces an island like elegant ambience, with exceptional comfort and serenity both indoors, and out, making even our off season an indulgent stay.
Our cottages comfortably accommodate two adults maximum and are suited perfectly for a romantic castaway from home. Guests may also arrange for one or two well behaved (friendly with all others) potty trained dogs to accompany them (a pet fee is required). All pets must be announced prior to arrival. There is a marina dog that wanders the property so guests pets must be dog friendly.
Our entertainment deck is pet friendly, with drink tables and seating areas placed around the deck shaded by umbrellas, laid back waterfront views, and a cozy appeal. Our onsite seafood restaurant also offers a limited pet friendly menu.
All guests must be 21 and older to visit the entertainment deck.

hese are private cottages with private entrances, a luxurious ensuite with plush towels, a small kitchen bar with mini fridge, microwave, keurig, and a starter amount of complimentary coffee.
The king size bed is top of the line with soft linens to pamper you while listening to your favorite music on the Bose sound system.
A private patio that overlooks the beautiful Bennett's Creek, and a private salon with sunset seating.
If you're lucky, our local pod of dolphins or family of otters will entertain you while you enjoy your view.

*2 adult person occupancy per cottage. If you are preparing to entertain other guests while visiting, you should plan to do so on our 14,000sq ft deck, at our full service restaurant or off site.

*Check in is at 3pm or later. You will be checking in directly at your rented cottage. The key will be in a lockbox next to your cottage door. When checking in, please take a few minutes to walk through the cottage and let us know if anything needs to be addressed within the first thirty minutes of checkin.

*Check out is at 11am. It is important to check out on time so that the housekeepers can refresh the cottage for the next guest.

*Smoking on the deck or patio is allowed. Please discard of your refuse and clean the ash tray receptacle upon vacating the cottage. Place receptacle back on back porch.

* Guests may invite friends to join them on the entertainment deck during business hours. However, parties inside the cottage are not permitted. If guests are interested in exclusive large gatherings of friends and family, they may reach out to our events coordinator to aid them in coordinating a group event.

*Entertainment deck: Entertainment deck is seasonal. It offers a staffed outdoor kitchen and tiki bar on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Along with live music, and the saltwater pool bar. This is a shared entertainment deck. All guests should behave appropriately, and treat others on the deck with kindness. More than likely you'll go home having met some new friends.
- Our entertainment deck is also staffed with security and there are security cameras on the premises.

*Scents: No scents of any kind. That includes candles, sprays, incense, etc.

*Decorations: No confetti, no glitter, (not even makeup glitter) no taped decorations, no tied decorations.

*Fireworks: NO FIREWORKS OF ANY KIND.

Hair Dyes, and other treatments: No hair dye in the cottage, or cottage showers.

*Wifi: Our wifi performs well with emails, and simple net surfing. It is not set up for gaming of any kind.

*Quiet time 8pm to 8am

Glass doors - sliding glass doors and windows, please use the door handles to slide open and closed. Fingers off glass if possible.

*Cooking: No cooking at the cottages. There is a microwave to warm up food, a Keurig, and a mini fridge. Food may be ordered from the restaurant as take out or purchased off site.

*Fishing: Fishing off the public pier at the far side of the restaurant is fine. Fishing off the private dock in front of the cottages is fine. Be sure to clean up any mess that may be made. Fishing anywhere else is prohibited. * Any fish caught and kept need to be cleaned at the fishing cleaning station near the Ship Store, and stored in the guests personal cooler outside of the cottage (with ice). No fish in the cottages.

*Beach: After visiting the beach or any other loose dirt surface, please take your shoes off before entering the cottage, and wash pet paws at our outdoor shower before taking them back into the cottage.

*Drugs: NO DRUGS. Illegal activity is not welcome on our property.

Linens, bedding and towels: Please do not use our towels or linens to wipe up messes, spills, or pets. We provide quality linens/bedding/towels. Please be mindful of their use.

*PETS PET FEE REQUIRED ($50.00 each pet. Covers extra necessary cleaning).
ALL PETS MUST BE ANNOUNCED AT BOOKING
No more than two well behaved, non destructive, potty trained to go outside, healthy dogs per cottage. Pets should not be on the furniture, or in the beds. Guests should provide all necessities for their pets to include dog bowls, crates, bedding, towels, etc. ALL owners are expected to go above and beyond to keep our facility pet friendly. Other pets may be eligible upon approval. There is a pet fee, and unaltered females are highly discouraged. There is a marina dog (black lab) that does wander the property.
*All guests are responsible for any damage to the property or others that their pet may cause.

*Marina dog: Bumpa is our marina dog, he wanders the property. You may see him. He is well mannered, and he is wearing a gps so we know where he is. He loves people and food. Please do not feed him. He is on a strict diet. Please treat him kindly. No riding on his back, chasing him, or taunting him in any way.

*Guests are welcome to use the pool from 8am until the tiki bar closes (usually 8pm) during the season. The pool is shared.

*Guests may book their own brunch, lunch or dinner reservations at our onsite full-service restaurant, or they can contact Tanya to make reservations for Decoy's Seafood Restaurant, The Vintage Tavern, Amedeos, or River Stone Chophouse.

*All guests booking this listing agree to our house rules.

*UPON CHECKOUT
-Please pile all dirty towels, on the clean tile floor in the restroom.
*Leave bedding on the bed.
-Place all trash in trash cans
-Remove all personal items double check the cottage prior to checking out to be sure you've gotten all of your belongings. Check drawers, restroom, etc.
-Place all dirty dishes in the bathroom sink
-Clean out the fridge and freezer of personal belongings.
-Put the key back in the lockbox
