    Description

MOUNTAIN VIEW RV HAVEN. Two one acre lots in the John Gibson Subdivision. One lot has two (2) 50X20 concrete RV pads with full hook-ups for RVs up to 45 ft in length. Water service is provided by your own 60 gpm well. The RV pads were built to meet Jackson County requirements for a 1000 square foot single story house. The improvements include a Septic system, 50 Amp power, DirectTV Satellite dish, fire pit, antique streetlight, and storage building. Each pad is set up with connections for electric, water, sewer and coax cable to the satellite dish, just like you would have in an RV park. The property is on the Highlands plateau with an elevation over 4,000 ft and is conveniently located between Highlands, Cashiers and Lake Glenville, North Carolina. One lot is not developed and can be sold separately or developed with a shared well arrangement. Along the westerly boundary of the property is Knob Creek. The John Gibson subdivision is a small deed restricted community that has a private pond for the owners, which is stocked periodically. There are no POA fees, and gravel roads in the subdivision are maintained by owners of adjoining lots. This is a beautiful spot to enjoy cool mountain temperatures each summer and breathtaking fall foliage in your RV. It is also close to the numerous waterfalls, hiking trails, water sports, farmers markets, art and craft fairs and the world class dining of Western North Carolina. Sellers are highly motivated as health issues are preventing our continued RV use of the property. John Arnett, one of the two owners, can be reached by phone or text at 352-598-0219 for further details.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.

"Nice place It’s a big vacation home community with a beautiful lake. Super expensive but nice if you can afford it. I’m tired of thinking of things to type."
    • Trulia User
"Not a lot for kids to do here. Most move away after high school. Otherwise it’s a nice place with beautiful Scenery."
    • Judygc11
"There are several choices of schools here. There are active after school choices such as those at local churches and the Boys and Girls Club. There’s a good library and a nice recreation center. Community events are family friendly. It gets very cold here in winter which can result in delayed school openings."
    • Monkeyman152002
"there aren't any community events that go on here. it's too small and remote. it needs to build up some more"
    • Sportysmh15
"Lots of student drivers and cars. They are sometimes reckless and can be dangerous to pets if they are not leashes or watched properly. However, Cullowhee is a beautiful region offering lots of hiking trails , beautiful scenery, and has plenty of room to run for our furry friends! There are also parks and outdoor restaurants that dogs are allowed to visit, but overall Cullowhee is a wonderful place to have dogs. Plus it is full of mountain scenery to see not only wonderful views of the mountain beauty, but of those beautiful pets as well! Cullowhee is most definitely a dog friendly place!"
    • dthomasturner
"I have lived in the house as a renter. It is a wonderful space. The best place I have ever lived. There is a fire pit next to the creek in front of the property and the neighbors are very nice. The location is very quiet and private. there are only three other houses on the street and this one is at the very end of Timber Wolf Trail with no possibility of a house ever going up on the other side."
