About this House

This beautiful 1920's home is a piece of Milan history and one of a kind! Before this was a residential home, it was the Grainery in Milan. Because of this, the walls of the entire main floor are solid concrete! This keeps it cool in the summer, warm in the winter and keeps noise out year round! This home was completely remodeled in 2013 with more updates along the way. A new Rheem tankless hotwater heater was just installed in the last few months! There is a large covered front porch with a daybed porch swing to enjoy all summer, as well as a large deck off the back for relaxing! The open floor plan and many windows downstairs let in so much light, there is hardly a need to turn lights on during the day. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms and one full bath. The master is large and includes a beautiful cedar walk in closet. There is also a bonus full bath in the basement! This home is just steps away from Tolan Square, Wilson Park and all the fun events Milan has to offer. There is nothing do to but move in and start enjoying downtown Milan living!

"Since moving here, I've been impressed with the sense of community. This is a clean city, filled with nice, down-to-earth people. We like our neighbors. We walk to the two nearby parks and enjoy the library. The Saline River and Ford lake are beautiful. They have a Christmas parade with Santa Claus, Milan Days, city fireworks, a few good restaurants and some useful stores. We do go to Ann Arbor for some of our shopping and entertainment. We enjoy getting away from the business and coming back to the quiet of Milan afterwards, however."
  • kimberly h.
