They cannot keep teaching or support service staff. High turnover. Poor leadership. Disconnected school board and leadership who frown on parent engagement. Despite their low stude t/teacher ratio, they perform in the bottom 50% of schools across the state. Administrators make substantially more money than large districts and the borough council continues to raise taxes to support this nonsense, bringing into question: is money is being utilized appropriately. The board of education is a sel serving disgrace.

I love Millville Elementary School because it is a small rural school which takes the time to assist every child to be the best s/he can be. Each teacher spends time every day to show they care deeply about the children's well-being, their social & emotional growth, as well as their educational development. The parents are involved with their child's education. Many volunteer to help in the classroom. Others work with the PTO to generate funds for enhancing and enriching the children's educational experience. The principal of the school is an exceptional leader of the school. He inspires, guides, problem-solves and supports with such nonchalance that it appears easy. And his kind ways inspire loyalty, dedication, and hard work from his colleagues. He has worked very hard to create a working and learning environment that is harmonious, cooperative, and productive. It is a joy to work and learn at Millville Elementary School. And that's why it's so effective as an educational environment.
