      "There is no public transit in this area. However, almost everything is within walking distance if you don't have your own car. But since I do have my own car, it's not an issue."

      "I live 1 mile from down town Covert. The area has been depressed in the past but is improving each year. There are few opportunities for shopping or restaurants, but Covert is within 10 miles of South Haven, Coloma, and Watervliet for every day shopping. It is within 20-45 miles of larger towns for more shopping, eating and entertainment options and within 60 miles of Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Holland, South Bend and within 2 hours of the Chicago area. We are less than 4- 7 miles from camping, state park, and public beaches on Lake Michigan. It is a lovely area to live."
