Bolivia is one of the poorest performing schools academically in our state. Their teachers are overwhelmed with large classes and are unable to support the children’s needs academically or emotionally. Behavior issues amongst students including bullying and physical violence are common. The teachers themselves lack tact and respect when dealing students, often treating them inappropriately in ways that can be seen as bullying themselves as well as outright abuse in some cases. Admin are not helpful as their main goal is to cover up and make excuses for their teachers behavior. Admin rarely take any action that brings about positive change and make excuses for the outlandish behaviors from teachers, allowing it to continue. Low socioeconomic status of this area and rampant drug use heavily color the culture of the school and it can been seen in the attitudes, behavioral issues and academic performance many students exhibit. If you care about your child’s education and emotional well being I strongly suggest you steer clear of this institution.

This schools administration team is the scariest part of the place. The way the scream and treat our child is down right wrong. Its not the peers we as parents need to worry about its the adults that take out their pent up aggression out on our children. I was told by therapist how bad this school is and that they strongly recommend homeschooling.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at this school. The teachers are great and so is the staff.

I'm a freshman at ECHS and this first semester has been challenging but I have realized that the reason we were pushed was to get us college ready and so that we are ready to start taking college classes.
