The administrators were not supportive of the teachers. They frequently went against the teachers and disregarded safety concerns about students. After a student threatened to shoot a teacher, the student was not even given a suspension. Another students sexually harassed a fellow student and nothing was done about it because the administrators said "boys will be boys". The school did not promote safety, social emotional learning, or collaboration. Students with special education requirements regularly did not have their needs met. Teachers were frequently expected to stay and work outside contracted hours. When teachers didn't they fell behind and got negative remarks from admin on their records. I do NOT recommend anyone to work in this environment where admin pitted teachers against each other, students against teachers and admin versus teachers. It was a highly competitive toxic environment.

"This is a great area. The elementary school (Concord Elementary School) is wonderful. The education is not only high quality but the staff is also very personable and gives off the “small town” feel and goes above and beyond. Also love Village Market. Highly recommend the area."

"I have lived here for 16 years. Everyone is on first name basis. We have house keys to each others homes for emergency use and to house sit or pet sit. Holidays and birthdays are celebrated together. "
