Donner Trail is a great school! The teachers are very dedicated and hard-working, and they smartly mix school work with fun activities, so kids are involved and motivated to learn. They are taught not only academics but also life skills through daily outdoor play that involves all grades playing together, smart pretend games that teach them how to earn and manage money and a state-of-the-art computer lab where they learn how to type and prepare presentations. We love this school as it provides a great well-rounded education and unique life experiences for our kids.

I graduated from TNT in 1984 and I went on to college at San Diego State University where I graduated with a bachelors degree in aerospace engineering. I was also accepted at UCLA into their aerospace engineering program. But university of California is a lot more expensive then the state school system. Tahoe Truckee high school was awesome for me. I graduated third in my class. I was involved with student counsel, baseball, basketball. My junior year (83) of playing basketball we won the Nevada AA state championships. My senior year we lost in the first round.
